Winter Drumline will be open to any current Central High School student or 8th grade future Central students who are interested in learning more about drumline/percussion. This low stress group will focus mainly on drumming with no plans for competition. I am attaching a poster with information about the group that you can show or put up if you’d like.
This group will meet on Monday nights on school days from 6-8 pm. Rehearsals will start on 11/28/21 (the first Monday after Thanksgiving break). The students who participate do not need to be percussionists, and any students with questions should reach out to Mr. Schulze at schulzni@u4sd.org for more information.
The instructor for these rehearsals will be Ian Shepard. He is an amazing percussionist who is great with the students. Mr. Shepard has been working with the Central Drumline for years and has experience in both the Marching Illini and the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps.
